Garden style that expresses the flow of mountains, seas, floating islands and rivers using sand and rocks without using the sea or water.
Japan was an island surrounded by the sea that was rich in water, and fascinated by its beautiful scenery.
And it is said that it was the beginning that I wanted to express the beautiful scenery
and landscape in my own garden (the way of thinking differs depending on the era).
After the Muromachi Period (since 1573), Zen has been spread and the teachings became common.
Spirits such as“The beauty of abbreviation”, “The beauty of subtle and profoundness” are so called “Wabi-Sabi”,
which is a spirit that Abreviates 10 with using only 1.
This Wabi-Sabi spirit has been spread too.
Just as in zazen, calm down the mind, decide on a theme, create an image in your head, and just feel at ease.
Karesansui （Dry landscape Gardens）is an "abstract expression", which is what the creator thought so,
if that person is the sea, it is a seascape, and if it is a universe, it is a universe. There is depth where there is no answer.
